darwin you must try a dussenberg bigsby

Post by louis cyfer »

i did today. the guitar is good. the bigsby on it is phenomenal. by far the best action i have felt on a tremolo. super smooth, light and very controllable. works up and down nicely. i tried the one the mounts to the stop tail of a tunomatic plus the strap button. the nut had a little binding, but the trem had no tuning issues. i used to think i liked the traditional bigsbies, but now i know that was just a mistake of young ignorance. this trem is so much better. adjustable height and arm length as well.

Louis, I have never seen a Dussenberg locally in all the shops that I have visited. I am looking forward to the day I see one. I would love to own one but want to try it first hand. I am still on the wait! Thanks Louis.-- Darwin

i'm intrigued,
I particularly like the extra support from the spring assembly to the middle
of the bar. I can see how that would be rock steady.
(not to mention the adjustability factor)

thx Louis,
