NGD - Guess which model!

I'll give you one hint:

The tone and playability are phenomenal. I can't believe what a simple volume and tone control configuration can do (oops - another clue!).

SC-1 in Viking Blue? If so, that's a killer guitar you got there.
'83 SC-2, Tobacco Sunburst, Saddle-Lock
'86 Broadcaster, Ebony Fretboard
'08 Comanche Semi-Hollow, Black with F-Hole and GOT Neck

Here's another clue:

I thought this would be a one-trick guitars, but it's amazing how much versatility it has. Somehow it isn't nearly as aggressive as I had expected. The tone control works wonders, especially with the volume dialed back a bit. After playing this I would be 100% in favor of making the LE II an SC-1 reissue, if we could have the exact original circuit. Of course, I would still love to resurrect the HG-1, but that's for the LE II thread...

They're even better with a 500k volume pot. My SC-1 had a Gibson branded 500k volume pot in it when I bought it. I installed a NOS 250k pot and I didn't like the guitar as well. I reinstalled the 500k pot! I would like to see more photos of your SC-1, too.

Sorry for the delay on more pics, but it's been a really busy weekend - and not just playing the SC-1!. I will try to take some tomorrow night or Tuesday.
