Fret leveling

Post by wrigman »

If a neck had been pleked at the factory and needs a fret level, would it be better to have it pleked again, or is a hand level and dress ok?

It all depends on who is doing the work. Many techs claim they can do as good or better then a plek. A plek job is only as good as the technician using the machine.

Thanks, thinking of running it by the factory and seeing if I can get them to do it. If not, I "Know a guy"....

If you are convenient to the factory and they are agreeable that would be great.
