I had to pipe in after owning this guitar for 6-8 months with an update. i am still in love with this guitar, and it blows everything else I own out of the water! (2 Les Pauls, and Am Std Strat, a RW Tele etc...)
The action is still low but I have gotten used to it. I haven't had the heart to raise it as it still blows me away how low it is - and no buzzing! A true testament to the quality of G&L's! The neck feels great and I find I can really take a little sloppiness out of my playing - not sure if that's the neck or the action.
the guitar is fairly light - compared to my Am Std Strat and RW Tele. Not sure how much it weighs, and not that it's important to me once a strap is on, but it is noticeably lighter than any other guitar i have.
Sound - well i love that too! Goes into a Z Wreck most of the time and i am all smiles with my tone. Using mostly a Paisley Drive and a Les Luis for overdrive at sensible volumes. (The Z Wreck is quite loud.) I can get from country twang to AC/DC (seriously) with this set up.
Bottom line? Best 2 grand I ever spent! I am absolutely over the moon with this guitar. I own a few and go thru spurts with each of em but always get the wow factor when I 've been away from the ASAT for a week or so. it's my #1 guitar and would take something very special to knock it from that position. i can't imagine a better quality guitar even exists!

Hi J5,
It's great to hear you are very happy with your AC Rustic.
I forwarded your post to both Steve and Dave. I'm sure Steve will put it
up on the board in the factory for all the craftpeople to read.
Care to share some clips for all to hear?
Thanks for your followup!

Hi Craig:
Thanks for forwarding my post to Steve and Dave. i hope it does reach the builders, they are true craftspeople, they can rest assured knowing they are the best in the business!
I'll get around to recording at some point soon, I am not up on the recording side of things, dabbled a bit with Youtube videos but they didn't turn out very good for the amount of time it took me to do em so I gave up on it. (using iPhone for video won't produce the best quality lol!)
I have a Fender Am Std Strat I've owned since '93, nice guitar but doesn't wow me.....I have thought of buying another, this time with a maple neck. You can rest assured it will be a Legacy if i ever decide to venture into that style of guitar now, NO QUESTION!
Cheers,
J5
