See this link: http://www.tcpglobal.com/restorationshop/rspcolors.aspx

Try either Plum Crazy or Firemist Purple.

Hope this helps.

If it were me choosing between the two I would go with the lighter of the two. Both seem to be on the darker end of the spectrum. They are both beautiful colors. The lighter would show off the color and with a black pickguard and other plastics it would look very sharp in my opinion. The darkest between the two might leave me begging to see more of the color. IOW, there is a chance of it being too dark to really appreciate it. Those car-shaped blobs used for the color swatches are not ideal for imagining how they would look on a guitar body. They do not offer a view of the color on a flat surface and they could look much lighter or darker.

Here is what he is trying to match, see Sparkle Purple:

On my monitor, the Firemist Purple looks to be the closest match, IMO.

I agree.

Firemist Purple definitely has the greater amount of red like the Sparkle Purple.

thanks alot for all the responses ! ill have to get home ( on the road now) and compare to my ASAT. i dont have to worry about it matching a pickguard as this is for a superhawk .

i have a set of the hardware in both chrome and black. she has a black headstock and an ebony board , a build thread is in the works :)
