I recently acquired a G&L ASAT from a family member and am trying to get some info on it. such as what year it was made and what its worth?.. disappointingly due to my current financial position i'm forced to sell it. and I want to find a good home for it!
the serial number on it is G021931
its Blonde in color with a flat black pick guard.
condition is about a 7 out of 10
its definitely a used guitar but still sounds great !
any info would be great! and if anyone is interested in buying it please let me know.
ill try to post some pictures here in a little while
thanks!
hey everyone! I'm in need of some help!

See the Welcome! Read This First post.
You will get info on how to post photos and what to do about
where to register your guitar and post your Ad (Hint: in our Marketplace ).
Once we see pictures, we can help you identify it and possibly provide

Hope this helps.

Welcome to the board. Sorry to hear you need to sell the ASAT.
The serial number seems consistent with the later part of 1987, but interestingly it is within a hundred of my ASAT (G021093), which has body and neck dates of May '86. A plastic pickguard suggests '86 production as well. Sometime in '87 they became black aluminum with a crinkle finish.

Steve,
I'm not selling a guitar. I was just mentioning to the OP that my ASAT is very close in age.

No problem. I just didn't want you to think I was leaving you hanging.
I spoke with Motoryno by PM last week. I'm not sure whether the guitar has been sold yet. The pictures look really nice. I think it's probably a late '86 or early '87. It has the old decal, with a crinkle pickguard. If I hadn't stumbled across an '81 L-2000E at the same time, I would have been very tempted by this one.

Steve,
He sent them by PM. I think you can PM with an option for it to go to his email, in case he's not lurking here currently.
