Input jacks, and frets
I would like some help with my 06 ASAT Classic, serial #40495 I bought it in March of 06 maybe a few months before the Plek system arrived, frets are in bad shape,I've had them dressed 2x already could this go to Fullerton for Pleking? Next question is about the input jack it seems lose or it's not solder right 3 different cables same results serious popping and scratching, can I go to a Switchcraft jack, and what size? I would also like to replace the tone pot and shaft, is there a CTS pot for replacing, last question where can I find a schematic? Best regards to all George.

Re: Input jacks, and frets
I guess that is a USA serial number, minus letters? I could be wrong on that. If so, pots are no problem, and CTS will definitely make one.
Jack-you can buy direct replacement jack, at least a lot of the stock jacks on USA are switchcraft. If you want to switch to the open style jack (lots of people do) it's a little conversion requiring modification to the wood on your guitar.
Frets - If I was going to spend the money on the plek (and it is awesome) i would have a pro do a refret first. Then you could see if you want to send it in, it is pricey. A lot of good tech's get pretty good action the old fashioned way. If do still want to send it away, you would have new Frets and should get maximum mileage.
I am sure you will get more detailed answers. Schematic link below.

Also, you might get more idea's in the knowledge base.

sickadtired pretty much covered it. a good tech can get it done as well as a plek, but new frets are pretty much a necessity at this point. also trying jescar evo, or stainless frets might be an option if you wear your frets pretty badly.
