Neck replacement on early 80's SC2

Post by lclyman »

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to replace the neck on a 1983 SC2.

I'm not nuts about the nut width and radius on the guitar but love everything else about it...

Does G&L offer replacement necks for that model and/or can any standard tele neck be substituted..?

Thanks.

Please see this post in our G&L Knowledgebase: Compilation of Replacement neck info posted on the G&L Forum.

I will add one potential source for G&L 3-bolt necks: ESI - electric stringed instrument. Look under Products and
you will see under the More Products Coming Soon: Custom Necks.
You might want to contact Gabe, see his contact info on his website.

Hope this helps.
