What happened that made them start the song over?

On the chords that just hang there the guitars sound really good. The other parts are harder to pick out a distinct tone.........the tone and song sound like hundreds of guitars and songs. What gear is the other guitarist on our right using? Is the guy on our left the main guitarist? Is his volume prominent? .....Just trying to get an idea of who and what we are hearing in the video.

The singer wasn't in time. For the rest, it's a youtube vid with the sound probably recorded from the cam (at least not from a soundboard) so I can't really tell.

The guitarist started the song in a different key than what they played it in after restarting the song. That is a critical mistake.

If you have to sing the song in the wrong key you will not be able to hit all of the notes in the melody.
