G&L "Pinup girl"

Post by lshines »

On ebay, I was looking at a G&L for auction, and the description mentioned original case candy including "the original pinup girl".

Does anyone have a pic of that? Is it a photo, or an illustration? Either way, I'd sure like to find one - nothing like that came with my ASAT Classic - and, of course, I like GIRLS as well as guitars!
'twood be cool to have - and maybe (if not x rated), cool to have on a t-shirt - as a G&L ad, of course.
fyi: Guitar Adoptions has superb photos of superb models with superb G&L's that you can download /save....
Thanks

Not sure but I think it may be the hang tag that comes / came with a new G&L. One came with my used S500 Deluxe

It's actually a sticker and was included as part of the case candy. G&L did have a tee shirt available for sale on the G&L on-line store with the Play G&L guitars logo on the front and the G&L pinup girl on the
back. That tee shirt was discontinued many years ago., though.

Hope this helps.

An ELWOOD car! I can see the scene now - you know the one where Elwood says " It's one-hundred and six miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas and half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." "Hit it"
But this time, as they speed away, you see - just in the light - the G&L pinup girl on the lower left of the rear windshield.....

Elwood - eh, sorry, it's Linwood

re the sticker and the t-shirt - it seems like G&L would want to have something like that available...I wonder why not.
