So I am about to order myself a G&L ASAT Bluesboy

Solid body ASAT bluesboy, swamp ash, Blackburst w/ black pick guard
Ebony Fretboard, Satin finish
Standard frets
Locking tuners
Graph tech nut
Any opinions out there regarding:
solidbody vs. hollow body?
belly cut?
single coil (classic ASAT) vs. humbucker in the neck position? (I could only locally find a classic tribute to play, but I really liked it, and I liked the neck single coil...it was very mellow)
Fretboard/neck finish (I love the ebony boards on my other guitars, and I hate sticky finishes on the back of the neck!)
tuners?
nut?
Color scheme? I'm not inclined to spend extra for a figured top, but swamp ash can have some nice grain, so I was thinking something semi-transparent...also, I thought black burst might be unique. I like the idea of modding it out a little and getting the humbucker in the neck, but in the end, I still want it to be a spanky tele, ya know? I've been playing a long time (mostly blues, jazz, and rock) and I only gig a couple times a month these days, usually jazz stuff.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts...much appreciated! I've had a Fullerton sig model in my stable for a few years and I love it....got the bug now for a USA tele! I have to say though...that tribute I played was better than I expected!

keep pickin,
Rob
