Case for G&L Legacy
Greetings all, I just got my 1995 G&L Legacy back after two years away form and I am never letting go again!. I want to take better care of it and want to get a hard case for it. Are there any SKB, TKL, Gator or whatever case brands you know for sure will fit a Legacy?

Check the G&L On-Line store for cases for your Legacy. You might ask them if they have the Deluxe Hardshell Tolex Case w/Fitted Interior.macg1 wrote:Greetings all, I just got my 1995 G&L Legacy back after two years away form and I am never letting go again!. IMO, they are the best G&L case to use.
Hope this helps.

Thank you! I was hoping to get something a bit cheaper, but may just wait and save up for one.

Re: Case for G&L Legacy
Good thing you asked before buying a generic case. The G&L guitars are longer that comparable Fenders and will not normally fit in a Fender size case. The guitar may physically fit in the case but the aluminum strip on the case will most likely damage the headstock. If you happen to find something that you can try, make sure that you have at least 3/4 inch above the headstock and that the guitar cannot slide into the aluminum frame on the case. -- Darwin

you can buy a wolfpack case. they have a zipper around, but they are a hardcase. no damage from the aluminum strip, and it is long enough. i actually prefer the protection to any of my other cases, including the g&l factory, g&g and other high end ones.

Interesting! the local GC has those and I got a 15% off coupon for friday. I will take the guitar with me to try out just in case but this may be a winner. Thank you.
