Does anyone have any opinions on what a fair price would be for an earlier (post-Broadcaster) ASAT, with the older typeset logo? I've found one that's in good condition, with a few small nicks, and one pot that has been changed out. This one was made in early 1988, and has all black hardware and an aluminum pickguard.
Thanks

From the Official Vintage Guitar 2010 Price Guide:
Note that they assume the guitars to be in excellent condition with some minimal playing wear.
Hope this helps.
year | features | exc. cond. low | exc. cond.high |
1987 | Leo sig. on headstock | $800 | $950 |
1988-1989 | Leo sig. on body | $825 | $1,000 |
Hope this helps.

Thanks. I saw similar pricing in my guide (though it is a couple of years old). Sounds like a fair price to me (if I can find the right one).

The 1986 ASAT, with no specific features given, has the same pricing as the 1987 model.zapcosongs wrote:Hmmmm. How might pricing be different for an '86? - ed
