L2000 Bridge Problem

Post by thorplaysbass »

I have a 1983 G&L L2000 bass. Somehow along the line the screw that controls the intonation on the E string went missing. I took it to a luthier and he said he couldn't find anything for it. I'm wondering if anybody knows where I could get one, it's becoming a problem and I love this bass too much to have it have a problem like this. Thanks, Thor.

I've contacted the factory to see if they know a source for this part.

Stay tuned.

Until you are able to get parts from the factory, you can fake it with an 8-32 machine screw of appropriate length. It might take an allen head to fit the bridge, but it should get you playing.
