Hi Everybody,
I got busy today, and forgot all about my duties. I apologize.
I had to take take my wife's car in for tires, and when I got back the oven repair guy was at the house. Oy. Then the wife & I went shopping for an oven, then we went to lunch. And I just got home and remembered.
Lunch today was a burger at the Elephant Bar. The foods OK, but it is right across from Home Depot, so it was close & easy. No dessert.
Tomorrow, I will not forget. And I will post some pix. Not of the whole family, just a few a guitars.
Take,
edg

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the thoughts. And I knew that there would be a cost for missing today. How's this: All of my 3 pup G&Ls? Will that do the trick?
As for the oven, nothing set yet. Likely a 27" single oven, standalone in the cabinet. The wife wants a double but we don't have the storage space for the stuff that would have to move for the 2nd oven. Plus we would not use it often, maybe once a year. Heck, our oven has been out for 6 months anyways, and the wife has not been chuffed by it. I have been doing my baking in my Big Green Egg bbq. http://www.biggreenegg.com Pie's are OK on the egg, but not cookies. And I feel the need.... The need for chocolate chip cookies made with real butter, not margarine.
Talk to you tomorrow.

Our washer went a couple of months ago and now the door on the dishwasher broke, so I feel your appliance pain. Maybe I should have gone into the appliance repair business. I could probably spring for choice guitars more often if I had.

appliance troubles suck. i scavenge for those. get fridge, oven etc when people are upgrading. moved up to a 2 door, with ice and water and a spare fridge in the garage. i have never bought a big appliance.
