I got a new camera right before Thanksgiving...a Canon Rebel T3i. (A very different SLR than the Pentax Super Program I bought in college!) I was excited to try out its HD video capabilities, so this past weekend I shot a video of me playing my G&L Legacy HB through my Marshall JVM. I shot it at 1080p, and it's quite nice on my computer...but the 1 minute video was 350MB, and uploading on a slow DSL connection was an ordeal. After 4 hours and only 50% completed, it failed!
I ended up shooting again at 480p, which was only 84MB...still took well over an hour to upload...maybe closer to 2 hours. But anyway, it was successful. Sound quality is not as good, but it still sounds suprisingly decent. (Probably should have tried 720p, but the manual said file size was the same as 1080p...but that doesn't make sense, I'll have to try it and see)
I've been trying to learn the solo to Fight the Good Fight by Triumph, so that's what I played (more or less!! ) I should have had the delay off at the beginning, so the first few bars sound a little muddy.
