My Legacy Deluxe has arrived !! (2006?)

Hi

My Legacy Deluxe finally arrived after 20 days of shippment.Perfect condition(Although they banged it arround (the G&L hardshellcase has a crack and 2 out of 3 Tremolo springs jumped out))

Maple cap on (dont know yet** Basswood or Ash),maple neck with virtually black ebony fretboard

Was abviously almost never played-->Plastic on Tremolo cover untouched

So I have restrung her and made a new setup (10-46)

Plays like a charm,very nice glassy SC sound and the SD HB goes perfect with them-->work well with Mark V which doesnt like all pickups-->is a nice sustainer although after so long never play usually such guitars are dead in the beginning(belive me).Put a 3 hours in for a start.the Tone controls function best yet( I think I have to drill a hole in my ASAT and add PTB)

Very very nice guitar.

Tip: Use a tripod when taking pictures without the flash.

Was way off-->Strings with no tension after 5 years

Now it nicely floats

Same pickup configuration as the Legacy HB which I have. Great sound. Thanks for posting.

P.S. The neck looks a little 'dry'? Could do with some LemOil maybe on there to rehydrate it?

Will do but its ebony like my Comanche-->doesnt suck oil so much

The factory says it's Basswood.
