Oops, I just found an error in this article on the Korina ASAT Junior II.

It says: "P-90-style G&L MDF soapbar pickups" however, the pickups are
not "MFD" pickups. They are alnico P-90 style G&L pickups.

And, yes, I just emailed Dave about this.

OK, you're telling me they're not Medium Density Fiberboard either

When I read the misprint, both as a typo as well as a mislabeling, I was amused that even people who are paid to write about instruments still are confused by MFD or G&L pups in general. But otherwise the article and the reviews, especially in combination with the posted video, are a great read/view.
