New Amp Day

Post by supereiv »

Hey you all !
A Mesa Boogie F30 just followed me home today, nice little amp. As with every Boogie, you have to tweak a little bit to find your sound but there's a bunch of possibilities hidden in there !
It goes really well with the ASAT classic custom. MFD seem to like Boogie's grease, it's more difficult with the blades of my Legacy special, maybe will I raise the pickups a little bit and see what happens.
I owned a studio 22 w/graphic eq when I was a gigging/starving musician 15 years ago so, I'm not lost somehow.

Anyway, I'm glad.

I used to have an F30, great amps - they're loud enough for anything, they're built VERY well and the G&Ls really do like them. One of my big gear regrets is selling it. Happy NAD!

Thank you Jamie !
Had the time to play it a little bit more yesterday, it is impressive !
Even my wife was impressed :happy0007:

Oh, and by the way, I was right with the gotoh blades, raising them quite solved the problem. As always, the ASAT is more of a killer guitar with that amp !! (if at all possible)
