The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
This one is from 1998, an ASAT Classic in Clear Red with ash body, rear contour and natural wood binding. The top looks to be maple.
Pickguard is aged pearl. Pickups are Wilde noise free singles.

Care to describe how you came upon this?
Thanks, it is a nice one. I also have a Bluesboy and a Classic Custom that have the back contour, all three guitars were bought used. If I remember correctly this one came from Ohio.
Thanks guys, it is a nice one, kinda feels like I've had it for a long time but it's only been a few months. Strange how some guitars do that and others don't.

Actually, I think it is an ASAT Classic Custom (1996-1997). The body is Alder with a bookmatched Swamp Ash top.

I think you are correct Craig ! I've never heard of that model before.
So it pre dated the current ASAT Classic Custom with the large MFD in the neck by five years or so ?
