The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
I just traded for a 2003 Honey Burst USA Legacy. I traded a Reverend Flatroc for it. I had no prior experience with the G&L guitars and man do I LOVE the Leagacy. I do not have pics of it yet but will post some later. Do you guys think I made a good deal. I think price wise the G&L was more $$ origonally. The one I got also has the Rosewood neck and the 3 singles with white guard.
I think I read somewhere on the net that the ones before 2007 where better for some reason, can't remember why they said.
I already had a Fender American Deluxe Strat that I'm now thinking of getting rid off to get an ASAT Classic.
I am now the proud owner and member of the G&L family.

Welcome FM. You made a great choice. I also have several American Deluxe Strats and have been picking up primarily G&Ls since my first introduction to them. As for which years are best, it depends on your opinion. I think that they continue to improve the manufacturing year after year. Of the 12 I currently own, I have 5 since 2007 and each one of them is spectacular in build and appearance. Bottom line is that they are all top notch. I just sold my only Tribute, a 2003 ASAT Special and it was sweet. In my opinion they are a great buy for the money. I will also add that I have really developed a preference for the chambered models.-- Darwin.
Thanks, for the replies. As soon as I get my American Deluxe Strat sold I will be getting an ASAT. Wish I would have known about these in time to have gotten one in the 30th edition.

Welcome!
You might still be in luck on getting a 30th Anniversary model. The factory is still taking orders for them, but likely
not much longer. Check with a G&L dealer and see if they can still be ordered.
