Hello from Buffalo!
Great site you have here! Lots of information and all!
I just got my first G&L, a 2008 SC-2 and it sounds amazing!
I am looking forward to reading all of the stories on the site.
Thanks!

Re: Hello from Buffalo!
The SC-2's are really cool looking guitars.
Yours looks like it has a lot of attitude!
Is the sound close to what a P90 would sound like?

Re: Hello from Buffalo!
Thanks!
You know...yes and at times it sounds like a killer Tele! But it really has it's own voice.
I find the tone and volume are very effective at shaping different sounds.
They work way better than other guitars that I have and that really surprised me!
This guitar has a ton of sustain and a really clear sound.
I know, it is like trying to write about colors!
I did have to have it adjusted (neck and bridge/nut), the upper frets had string buzz.
I found this to also be true of newer US and Tributes that I tried out locally, string buzz from about the tenth fret on up.
After having the SC-2 adjusted, it plays fantastic!
