Box Bridge Yuk!

Post by ReeBo »

O.K. I know you will want to chop my head off and hang it from a G&L neck, But.
I have fell in love with my Tribute bluesboy asat But I can't take one more minute of
That Ashtray Bridge. It stops my hand from damping the strings and stops me from picking the High E string
Where I want to.
Where can I get a Bridge that retro fits the axe, (Not an ASHtray / box bridge)
Thanx

You can get replacement tele-style bridges from a lot of manufacturers, as long as they have the vintage style 4 mounting screw holes. Or you could just cut the sides off of the one that's on there. It's a ten minute job with a hacksaw and a file.
