My G&L Dealer closes (True North Music)

Post by THE G »

Just heard ( Last Night) the music store I bought my Asat Classic in 2005 shut it doors. Too bad .G&L dealers in Ontario ,Canada are to few and far between to begin with,so this hurts.
RIP
Cheers,
Ken

Pongettis in Hamilton has a good price, not the cheapest, but great service when talking with Mark about orderring. They appear to do well also. There was one in Toronto that wanted significantly more than the others, and when I called him on it he got very angry. :happy0007: (we are talking a very sizable difference).

Ken, I can relate to your 'loss'. I'm still lamenting the closing of 'The Zobrist' in downtown Seattle almost a decade ago. And although Emerald City Guitars took over their business, including their carrying of G&L, it does not feel the same to me. And you just cannot expect a lot from GC in terms of G&L, since for them to actually support the G&L line fully, I feel that they wait until G&L goes the way of PRS: from a small dedicated shop to mass production. And according to Darth Invader, thet is not the way G&L wants to go, at least for now.
