Friday Lunch Report, or #FF in Twitterland... It's cold pizza time! Deep dish, Chicago-style and thin crust four cheese pizza. Iced tea or Pepsi Max on the rocks.
G&L Topic: Case Candy. I know and have seen some great stuff out there promoting G&L. That neon light was nice too. Here's my manila folder's worth:
Let's revisit some of those pics! Yeah, you...
-------------------------------------------------
Semi-G&L Topic: What's your "oldest" BBE or G&L product? Mine's the BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer. It still gets use:
So, that's it. It was a great week despite the heat in Minneapolis. There may be a "Saturday Report: Week In Review", but the Minnesota gov't shutdown may interfere. I'll be heading out of town for a couple months too, but will check in as usual. Thanks for tuning in...
Cheers,
Will

Re: Lunch Report Friday July 1, 2011
Thanks for accepting the baton this week Will. Sorry i haven't been able to participate but being the end of financial year my team and I have been pulling 12-14 hour days in the office all week
Interesting week of pics and discussion though
Stuff Promoting G&L: Other than the Guitar and its case candy the only promotional item I have is a G&LDP Bumper sticker like Craig's Avatar.
Oldest BBE/G&L Product: That would probably have to be the guitar, which is about 5 years old now. Oh ... I still have an old Barcus Berry accoustic guitar pickup from the '70's lying around ... does that count?
Enjoy your sojourn out of town!
cheers, Robbie

I only have the stuff that my guitar came with. Some of the stuff they include is pretty cool. No real promotions though.
Oldest BBE/G&L is a new sonic stomp, doesn't get much use in my rigs though. Pretty new to the company over all.
Thanks for bearing the torch this week.

I don't think I have any G&L promotional materials, but I'd really like a coffee mug and some bumper stickers....
Oldest G&L product would have to be my 1981 L-1000 bass. Now all I need to do is learn how to play it.
Great week, Will. Thanks! - ed

Promotional stuff, I got nothing. I want to put my G&L sticker I got with my Deluxe on my $20 hippie water bottle. But I can't bring myself to do it....
Oldest BBE & G&L gear? 81 F-100, I have had it sense 85/86 or so.
Thanks for the week, and have safe and rewarding travels....jeremy

case candy and old promo stuff, all I got is old brochures and an 87' ASAT. New promo, if you call it that, is a cuple of G&L t-shirts from ye ol' on-line store. Would like to get a G&L store banner!
Have a safe, fun and rockin' weekend!

Aussie: I've seen some cool stuff on eBay and occasionally one here. I don't have a bumper sticker yet...
SirM: That sonic maximizer was my first. It is a real set-it-and-forget-it piece of hardware. It still gets a little action now and then.
Zap: Coffee mug. Yes.
Jeremy: Yeah, if I had a few of those stickers... maybe.
Sam: I can't believe that I haven't bought a t-shirt yet. You have a great weekend too!

I think that Fender has been very good with case candy in there American and American Deluxe models. They include strap locks and a very nice leather strap in the American Deluxe models. Also a wipe cloth as does Ernie Ball. Thanks for stepping up this week Will. I spent a fair amount of time at AG&B and picked up a guitar. I am doing a separate report on that.-- Darwin
