New amp!!!!

Post by shawn500 »

Well, I've had it for about 2 months now, but here it is.................

Image

It's a Gretsch Executive amp. 20 watts of hand wired tube goodness.
Essentially it's a Fender Deluxe circuit with some tweaks. The speaker is a 15" Emminence Patriot.
Man she sounds good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a couple of vids of it in action. No G&L I'm afraid...that's my Gretsch Duo Jet.

Cool amp Shawn. I am a Gretsch fan but do not have a Gretsch amp. I have a 65 Twin reverb with a 15 and I love the sound of a 15 in speaker. Bet it cooks.-- Darwin

Very nice Shawn. I really want a gig in that bar you play at, looks like a good place to get drunk.

Oh it definitely is!
That's Phil Brady's it's about 5 minutes from my house. I love playing there. They actually appreciate good music, and do right by the musicians.
We play there about every 4 months or so.

Here's a vid where you can actually see something....it's very dark in Brady's.
This is from the Hammond La. Harley David "Skullberry" Festival. They have it every year the same weekend at the Ponchatoula strawberry fest.
We're doing a surf tune we wrote. Those Gretsch Executives have killer reverb and tremelo. Classic Fender!
