I just recently acquired my first G&L on a trade and it's a late 91 ASAT, triple bound. Besides the fact of absolutely loving the way this thing sounds and plays, I'm now very pleasantly surprised that these seem to be pretty rare. The others that I have seen pictures of though, that are pre-commemorative, look lighter and this looks more like a tobacco-burst.

Re: Triple Bound
Big Al, a great score. It looks like a 3 color SB to me but I cold be wrong. It is a beauty with the triple binding. Does it have a TGN neck? it is a bit hard to see.-- Darwin

Re: Triple Bound
Thank you. I can't put the guitar down. I'm trying to load a pic of the back of the neck but not having any luck. It looks tinted to me but I have not been around many G&L's. After this one though I am hooked. I'm looking at others now!
