G&L F-100 - availability?

Post by serialjoe1 »

'Sup fellow G&L people,

So I've been checking out the G&L website for quite some time and I've become intrigued by the F-100 model; with the MFD pickups, it looks like the perfect guitar for me.. proguitarshop.com usually has each base price of each G&L guitar but i could not find the F-100 model listed, does anyone know how much it would cost for one?

also would it be possible at all to special order a SC-2 with a maple fretboard? I know it says they only make them with rosewood fretboards, but.. what if I bribed them? think it would happen? ;)

Hi Joe,

We don't allow posting of the sale prices of new G&L instruments on the forum. The MAP price for the F-100 is $1800.

No need to do any bribing on ordering an SC-2 with a maple fretboard. G&L has opened up the options list for the SC-2, they just have not gotten around to updating their spec page on the SC-2. BTW, the specs also don't mention that body comes with the arm and rear body contouring.

Hope this helps.

I highly suggest you also send a few emails to PGS, I have had nothing but good things to say about them and if you get in contact with Chris Larson you will have no troubles. of course the real trick is deciding what features you really want :D

Awesome! But to be honest I'm not all that big on body and arm contouring... :P are they an optional feature?

yea I'll have to get around to sending them an email sometime, and the hardest part is definitely picking the features

They are standard features. You might check with your dealer and ask to not have the contours on the body.

Hope this helps.
