NGD:Finally, My Honey Comes Home (ASAT Special Semi-Hollow)

Well, finally my sweet little honey ASAT Special Semi-Hollow......has come home.

It's taken a while, as I was paying this baby off for the last three months.

Now, I am a bass player by heart and by nature. Always have been. Of course bass guitars and bass related gear and projects have to come first. But I do love to play guitars for a lot of reasons. For the love of music, for fun and for writing and laying down song ideas on demos (to be later handed over to real guitar players )

Itook a few pics, but the camera started acting weird and I couldn't get it to focus correctly. I have no idea whatr went wrong. But once I figure it out, I'll trake some better pictures and post them.

Beautiful guitar! I'm a big fan of being able to see the grain in the body of the guitar and this is a fine example of that!!!!

Obviously the grain on that guitar is so mesmerizing the camera can't focus on it or it will explode form all the awesomeness that the honeyburst has to offer in all seriousness that is one of the nicest semi hollow tops I have seen, looks almost like an acoustic. I bet it sounds like the bees knees even unplugged.

LOL, Blarg. The Bold and Beautiful ASAT Special Semi-Hollow is having an affair with Brooke Logan, unbeknownest to Eric Forrester. But Eric Forrester is having an affair with the ( soon to be mine) G&L Legacy, behind Brooke's back.

But what neither Brooke or Eric know, is that, the ASAT Special Semi-Hollow and Legacy carried on a very, secretive yet tumultuous affair; for the better part of the last three years. Which resulted in the birth a bastard SB2 Bass Who now lives with Deacon Sharpe and has been accepted into the family as one of their own

Meanwhile, back at the barn............ Brooke says......"Uh, like, uh ma' gawd. Like, ASAT, you like......have the best, stiffest and smoothest neck, like .... I ever held...uh ma' gawd....."

Unfortunately something bizzare happened to my camera. The focus (or lens, I guess) won't set. It's completely out of focus (extremely blurry and fuzzy). Nothing we do with the settings and lighting will correct it. This camera is five years old, but that doesn't seem like too old, to me. I'm no camera or photgraphic expert. But something has gone wrong, here. Something in this camera has bit the dust. We're going to take it to a repair guy and see what it would cost to repair.

If it's too much, we'll just buy a new one.

Rest assured, I've been treating here with golden kid gloves. I clean her up nicely every week, I had her set up beautifully and I keep her in gthe G&L case all the time, when she is not being played.

I'm a stickler for taking extremely good care of my instruments and gear. Even my home audio gear is cared for extremely well.
