different tuners for my ASAT?

Hey all, I got to gig my 90's USA ASAT this last weekend. I sounds and plays great!!

I have only one issue. I play out quite a bit and I change the strings every gig.

The vintage tuners are a pain. Is there a direct replacement tuner for the Schaller vintage tuners?

Locking would be great. Would Schaller's be a drop in?

If not locking, what would be a drop in set without the split shaft?

See What tuners are used on G&L guitars? in the G&L Knowledgebase. You will want the Schaller Locking tuners with the pin lock.

I figured as much. I didn't know if there was an option.

I will order a set of locking tuners and install them.

I had looked at the link you provided, I was after alternatives.
