Honeyburst w/ Rosewood Fretboard
Does anybody have pictures of any guitars/basses with a honeyburst finish with rosewood fretboard? I've searched everywhere to try to see what it looks like before i pull the trigger on a custom legacy but no luck. Thanks in advance and please post pictures!

Well, guess can show mine here as well. The burst on this one is incredibly subtle and my camera's flash washed out the transition in color quite a bit. but it is there.

Little darker and not a G&L, but same idea.
[Admin note: I have now placed a size restriction on images of 1000 pixels wide x 1300 pixels high.
Therefore, I edited the image BBCode to use the timage= BBCode here]

Holy smokes Sirmy, that is the longest picture I have ever seen. It scrolls for about 3 pages and only shows the wall, the radiator and then the floor. The floor could be honeyburst, but I bet there is a guitar somewhere. I just can't see it. Is this a technical problem on my end??? Sorry-- Darwin.

Hmm, there seems to be a problem with the Prosilver Style and large images.darwinohm wrote:Holy smokes Sirmy, that is the longest picture I have ever seen. I'll have to look into this and see if it can be resolved.
Sorry for this inconvenience.

Re: Honeyburst w/ Rosewood Fretboard
As a workaround, you can change your Style setting from prosilver to subsilver2 in the User Control Panel. The problem appears to be that prosilver does not provide a horizontal scroll bar for images which exceed the screen width.Craig wrote:Hmm, there seems to be a problem with the Prosilver Style and large images.darwinohm wrote:Holy smokes Sirmy, that is the longest picture I have ever seen. Here is a resized view of it:darwinohm wrote:Holy smokes Sirmy, that is the longest picture I have ever seen.

Re: Honeyburst w/ Rosewood Fretboard
I have fixed this issue by restricting the image size of all photos to 1000 pixels wide X 1300 pixels high, which should be big enough.Craig wrote:As a workaround, you can change your Style setting from prosilver to subsilver2 in the User Control Panel. I also edited the post with the oversize photo to comply with this new restriction.
Hope this helps.

Sorry about that Craig, I usually upload at a reduced size (1024x768) apparently I forgot to for a few. It had resized it on the acid etch so I left it, but knowing that you have thumb image command I'll double check and make sure I kill it down a bit next time if it isn't shrunk already.
Darwin, it was apparently the full size image off the DSLR

Re: Honeyburst w/ Rosewood Fretboard
I like the look of the honeyburst with RW board.
I'm thinking of an ASAT classic in honeyburst with rosewood but can't decide on the pickguard. The examples here with the pearloid white don't look bad but I'm thinking black or tortoise....don't see many examples of black pearloid.
I'd like to see some examples of honeyburst with different color pickguards for comparison.

Maybe a bit late, but this is one I have here at the moment, a S-500 Deluxe:
Looks amazing, the gunoil gloss finish goes nicely with the honeyburst
