Hot Blonde on the way! Butterscotch Blonde that is

Post by mrfstop »

Hey out there,
Just purchased a brandy new 2010 G&L L-2000.
A hot butterscotch blonde with birdseye maple fret board and gun oil neck finish.
Found it on Guitaradoptions.com
Very cool G&L dealer! Hassle free purchase!

I had one other G&L for about a week and sold it.
It was an SB-2 and fretless...
Not really into the fretless thing so let it go to someone who is.
REALLY looking forward to getting this blonde and spending some time with her...hahaha!! :shifty:

I just joined here today...
Will be registering the Blonde here at the registry and looking forward to learning much more about the G&L Brand.....

Whoa Nellie!! I'd actually never seen a Bird's Eye Maple board on a bass. But it looks gorgeous. Congrats! And yes, blondes are more fun ... At least for some of us.

Hey thanks!
I knew Musicman had the all birdseye maple neck and fretboard combo on their newer "Classic" edition stingrays.
But had not seen any G&L's with this before.
Then I found a G&L Dealer in Chicago online...
They had special ordered two of these 2010 Butterscotch Blonde L-2000's with a gun oiled #8 neck and the upgraded Birdseye maple fretboard.
One was already sold when I found the site.
And this one remained up for grabs.
So I grabbed her!! hahaha!!
The price was fair for what this is ...not much more than used Butterscotch Blondes without the fancy fretboard sell for ....
The cool thing too is that with this dealer, no one ever plays the basses.
They are special ordered by the dealer for inventory and kept as they came hot off the PLEK machine at G&L till they arrive in the customers hands!
Psyched to see how it is set up, etc....from the factory! :)

My 2006 Warwick Limited Edition "Dirty Blonde" Thumb was already dubbed that by the makers in Germany.
