Color Curiosity

Post by vulpesoutfoxed »

Greetings, I am wondering, has anybody happened to see what the Bel Air green finish might look like with the new satin frost top coat? Is that even a combination that can be done? Thinking it might make for an interesting look on an SC-2.

I checked with Steve Grom and he said:
We haven't done a Belair Green with the Stain Frost topcoat, but I think it would be fantastic.
If one comes through I'll get you a photo.
The Frost topcoat can be ordered with any of the finishes.

Why don't you go ahead and order that SC-2 and perhaps it will be the first one done in that finish.
And then Steve will take a picture of it and I will post it here. You'll be able to see her before she leaves the factory. :luv:

Hope this helps.

The consummate salesmen in action! ;) But definitely worth the experiment ...

Thank you Craig for checking that out for me. Definitely going to be looking into getting that guitar ordered, Just have to make some room for the new arrival before I do order it. And thinking about the options and all, I began to wonder if the frost coat could also be done on the headstock as well or would it just obscure the G&L logo and all? But i do think the matching headstock would look awesome.
