New Z-2, well kinda

Post by yowhatsshakin »

Like Darwin, my birthday is around the corner too. And like Darwin, I got me a new guitar too. I know ... I'm a copy cat  But these you don't see that often, and I couldn't resist when it appeared in the Marketplace. The tortoise binding is a story in and by itself you can learn about in the Gallery and this YouTube video.

On top of that, it completes my quartet of Tim Page designed ASAT Rarebirds (L-to-R Blues Boy #9 Contour, ASAT '50 #1, ASAT Z-2 #8, and Trinity #24):

I want to thank Josey Wales, jonc, and Tim Buffalo Brothers (not to forget my steady employment) who were all instrumental (no pun intended) in making this possible :happy0065:

Holy Cannoli! The contrast is stunning. That ASAT 50 still fires me up though.

Thanks Jamie! It seems to feel right at home. I haven't heard her complain yet. Did hear her wail though ;)

There are several guitars in your collection that would be at the top of my list if I had the means to collect, really a beautiful collection
