G&L Jake Brake-New Feature

Post by darwinohm »

Yes, it was finally my birthday yesterday and Ginny took me to my favorite place for dinner last evening. As some of you may recall, I won one of Jay books on GAS last winter and read it as soon as I got it. Ginny wanted to read it and I haven't said anything but have been waiting for the shoe to drop. During our wonderful dinner last night, she mentioned that she was reading the book and that I have TRIPLE GAS PLUS. Boy, was this an eye opener. My response was "WHAT"? I managed to sneak in a couple of new guitars for my birthday a couple of weeks early and I was thinking of going for a triple header. When we got home last night after a couple of cold ones I told her there was a new one on CL that I would like to buy. She looked at it and told me that it looked exactly like two others that I already have. Today, I stopped at AB&G and they had one that I really liked. My safety valve is that I drove the Gold Wing out there so I could not bring one home with me. I told her about it tonight and she just smiled at me! The brakes are not on hard but that Jake Brake is definitely working. Could this be a case of gross misdiagnosis? -Darwin :confused0007:

Darwin, you look like a survivor, and Ginny sounds like a woman who is happy for Hubby's happiness. Get it, Man. A modest tennis bracelet would probably be a reasonable surcharge!
