Sorry Folks,I can't Help It!

Post by darwinohm »

I have had too much White with the last two purchases. I took this mid 2000s Legacy off the wall tonight and oiled the neck, checked the setup, and waxed her. Hands down, Red is the most beautiful color on the planet and if you don't already have one, I would expect that they command a much higher price. I hope that G&L a lot of this paint in stock. They have the most beautiful Candy Apple Red. This is proof.

The unambiguous proof is that my camera used 1.5 megapixels on the CAR. It normally uses 1 to 1.1 megapixels on the other colors. This could cause GAS :shocked028: Darwin

Darwin, what are we going to do with you. I have been gassing for a strat type guitar to round out my collection, and then you start showing me shiny red ones... Red metal flake sounds like fun, always wanted a flake guitar since I saw Hamm with one live..

I don't really care for the shade of CAR that G&L uses, but DAMN! That is beautiful! Maybe it is the tortoise guard that softens it. Beautiful!

Candy Apple Red,

That is beautiful. I just missed a candy apple red semi-hollow ASAT special on the bay over the holidays. I got permission from the wife at the last minute went to make a bid and I was to late! It sold for the minimum! Oh, and it was white double bound and had a bigsby. Arghh!!!

I love the wood binding....

That is a nice CAR. Did you grab that one from AG&B? Now that SC-2's can be customized, you should get a CAR one of those too...

Cheers,

Will

Will, that one didn't come from AG&B. It was used from a private party and perfect. I could be in the market for a SC-2 at some point. I like the smaller body. Darwin
