New G&L Legacy Owner From Jax, FL Area, with pics

Post by legacyman »

OK Guys,

I finally got hold of a digital camera to take some pics of my new G&L Legacy to prove that is does exist! Ignore the date on the camera on some pics. I had to reset it! You'll also notice that part of the pics have chrome knobs! Which do you'all think looks better! 8-) Also, she came with a real BONE NUT!!

That's a beauty. I prefer the look of the plastic knobs, the chrome ones look good too.

What finish is that? Vintage white? Ivory?

And you can NEVER have too many pictures!

Hey Jamie,

Thanks, It's Vintage White!! :) Just some of the pics had some strange lighting shinning on them to make it look more yellow! I kinda like the chrome myself, but, I can't decide! :confused0007:

And Hey, I've got more pics!!

That's a sweet looking Legacy. I've got a three colour sunburst myself, but if I could have one more Legacy it would be in vintage white. I quite like the chrome knobs on it

Did you order the bone nut or are these coming standard now?

Hi Thinline,

Thanks for the compliment! I love the Vintage White too of course! :)

The bone nut is now standard on all models I believe! They went to bone back in September of 2009 I think! And I am kinda leaning toward the chrome Knobs myself too!

BTW Thinline, I really like your ASAT Special!! It sure is purdy! Is that the Blonde or Vintage White?

I have the same colour legacy, 2009, both set of knobs look great. I put white speed knobs on mine.

Congrats, great guitar.

The colour is vintage white but the more I look at it, I think of banana cream.

Legacyman, vintage white is one of my faves. I like the chrome knobs. It is a beautiful guitar. Here is an example with the vintage creme pickguard-- Darwin

Yow, Blondie is a beauty! The pickguard lights up! I do not have a blonde G&L but here is my entry. It is always in the display case. A 57 Mary Kaye 50 Th reissue.

Gold hardware! Always stylish :happy0065: Love the cream pup covers and knobs on white pickguard too. My George Fullerton is decked out like that.

Nice looking Legacy. In fact, lots of nice looking blondes, there!

Personally, I think I prefer the traditional plastic knobs, but it's not a strong preference.
