What exactly are these 'frost top coats' G&L has been talking about. Can't say I understand.

It is a Satin finish top coat.

Hope this helps.

Does that mean it's applied over say a Candy Apple Red metallic finish that has already been applied ?

Are there any shots of these finishes taken in sunlight ?

I too would like to see a few more photos.

As I understand it, they would use a satin, rather than gloss, clear coat over whichever colour you choose.

Jamie is correct about the application. And it is my understanding that the Frost Top Coat is an option you can order on
any of the currently available standard finishes. I don't know if this option has a cost to the customer, so you should check with
an authorized dealer or distributor.

Hope this helps.
