I did some searching but didn't find anything.

I have an 86 Lynx that has the letters (in lumber crayon) on the base of the neck that slides into the neck pocket what appears to be "CLF"

How many Lynx's were made total?


Are they rare?
Are they worth anything?

Sorry, but don't know the production number.
We do have 29 Lynx basses registered in the G&L Registry, but cannot answer your rare question because
we don't know the production number. Our determination of a Rarebird is 400 or less.
Yes, they are definitely worth something, they are, after all, Leo-era instruments.

I've owned this Bass since 1993, I love the way it sounds. The guy I got it from told me that it was likely built by Leo Fender himself. I was 16 when I got it, so.....I don't know if he was telling me a story or not.
