SC-3 Interim body?
I've just begun my foray into G&L vintage bodies, so pleas excuse my ignorance if this is common knowledge, but I think I've come across a couple of photos of SC-3 Strat style (version 2) SLAB bodies, without the usual Strat heavy rear body contour. Is this a transitional body style that was out shortly between the first & second versions? If so, was it out for long?

Brad W. Traweek's 1987 SC-3.
Production List of G&L Instruments (USA)
Greg Gagliano's G&L webpages and look for the SC-3 pages. Edit: jonc's
post above has the specific links.
Hope this helps.
