NGD - ASAT Special

Post by desertrat07 »

I picked this up from a guy on the Hamer Fanclub forum. I believe it's a 1994 or 1995. It plays and sounds amazing - so versatile!

With quality like this at such a good price, I see no reason to continue buying anything but used G&L's. Great guitars.

Questions: What does ASAT stand for? Second, can anybody tell me what the body wood may be on this guitar?

Looks like a maple body for that AntiSATelite. And congrats :happy0065: Knowing how maple bodied ASATs sound, that guitar must be killer!

Thanks Jos - and here I thought ASAT stood for something like "A Seriously Advanced Telecaster" or something like that. I suspected it's got a maple body, but wasn't sure. It does sound great - mean and snarly if you want it to be or just as sweet as can be. Nice complex tones, and I am shocked by how much bottom end it has (that's good in my book).
