New G&L on Order
Hi Everyone:
New to posting here but have been lurking and really enjoying everyone's expertise..........thanks for all the info! I play left handed,
I have 2 G&Ls now, a 2008 Bluesboy (spanish copper) and a late 2009 Legacy (antique white). If I can figure out how to post pics here, I'll do so.
Love the guitars so much, I have decided to order one, to my specs and the order went in last week.
ASAT Special Deluxe - Natural Gloss -
Premium Flamed Maple Top
Left Handed –
Neck #3, Wide "C" - 12 degree radius
Stainless Steel Medium Jumbo frets
Ebony Fretboard
Clear Gloss finish on neck to match body
Locking Tuners -
Graph-Tech Nut -
Black Pickup Covers -
Loaded it up, ha. I am sooooo looking forward to it, the wait will go by fast and then I expect to be blown away by this guitar, I sure hope so.......
Its sooo hard to decide. I ordered my bluesboy from scratch as well and its so very hard to pick which neck and options etc. Being left handed doesnt help since you cant just walk into a store and try all the different ones.
Anyone have any experience with a quarter sawn neck? Does it make much difference?
FIngers crossed that it'll be the best ever!

...not quite sure how you ended up with the "https... "address,
(and you forgot the backslash for the 'end image' tag)
....here is the address I end up with:
http://gallery.me.com/astutzmann/100272 ... 5366900001
...and then pasted between the img tags:
...hope this helps : )

Another tip: If you have composed your post, click the 'Preview' button. This allows you to verify the pictures are properly rendered in your post. You can still make edits, fix links, etc. before you finally hit the 'Submit' button. And even when you would hit the 'Submit' button prematurely, you can still edit your own post by clicking the 'Edit' button in the upper right hand corner of your post. Like I had to do to fix the word 'post'.
Hope this help,

Re: New G&L on Order
Congrats on the order! Sounds like it'll be nice!!
I placed an order for a Legacy HB right before Thanksgiving and two weeks ago my dealer told me two more weeks, plus a week to ship from CA to VA. I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm hopeful it's getting packed up to ship!

Re: New G&L on Order
awesome congrats. I'm thinking may time frame, ugh..
Only option I wanted and G&L doesn't have (yet maybe), is a 10-16 compound radius neck. If they had that, I would have tried it.

I fixed up the img tag. You cannot use https and you have to 'navigate' properly to the file in your 'me' account. Quote this mail to see what the tag looks like such that everybody can see the image.
BTW, nice south paw collection, especially the Deusenberg
