Comanche Pickup swap-->Will Ray-->Experience

Post by thunder100 »

Hello

I like my Comanche, but the Z-pickups from voicing point of view sound pretty close each other regardless the position(which should be as all of them are the same output)

So I changed to Will Ray in bridge position which adds annother voice.

First result was OK but a kind of MEH(small difference) regardless of the amp(HRD Dlx,the Vibro Champ or even the TA-15(Same also on Axe-Fx)

Now my newest GAS-cure a Mark V arrived.The Mark V seem to like this pickup (much)better because there is now a huge difference in voice and volume compared to the other amps.Owning 7 guitars,playing (if I can) every day the Comanche-amp pair moved from 5 % playing with the Mark V to 30 % playing.

Congratz on the Mark V, glad it made things work out for you. The dang amp is so input sensitive it is amazing. If you ever need some help with it let me know, ch3 especially griefed me for a while.

I approve (and own one), stellar amp.
