Lots of feedback from ASAT classic semi hollow

Post by SWagner004 »

Hey all,

I recently got a ASAT Classic BluesBoy Semi Hollow tribute and I am playing it out of an Orange Rockerverb 50 and a Hughes & Kettner Statesman, and with both amps I get a significant amount of (really annoying) high-pitched feedback when on the dirty channels with both pickups.

I tried playing out of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with the same result.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can cut the feedback out? I've been messing with the amps, and I cannot find any good settings that will stop the feedback without sacrificing tone.

Thanks!

See this post in the G&L Knowledgebase: squealinga and feedback.

Hope this helps.
