So what's the wait time on a new US order?

I just placed an order and the dealer told me 6-7 weeks, though I had checked with another who said 9-11 weeks.

I think it varies a lot by model. I've been waiting for almost 18 weeks for my SB-2, and I think that a legacy, ASAT or L-2000 would probably have a faster turnaround time.

Yeah, well 19 now, but who's counting? :lolno:

I'm not sure how the process works exactly, but I guess that's why they give an average wait time... something can always go wrong.

I ordered an Asat custom classic this past Tuesday and was told 8 weeks. Mainly bought it as a back up guitar so I am able to wait a bit more patiently since I am love my number one Asat.

I ordered a hardtail legacy in '07 and only had to wait 4-6 weeks (I actually don't remember exactly how long the wait was, I just remember being surprised by how quickly it came). It came with the DF vibrato, so I had to send it back, but the excitement of getting it was still awesome.
