New Demo for TightSqueeze Acoustic Duo

Post by RickT »

The acoustic duo format of TightSqueeze went into the studio yesterday to crank out a demo in hopes of booking more acoustic gigs in 2011. Here's our version of the Eric Clapton song "I've Got A Rock n Roll Heart"

That's a very nice rendition of that song, Rick,
I would hire your acoustic act based on that. It sounds great.

Thanks for listening and thanks for the comment. We did four songs which is a lot for a four hour session. There's a few barnacles on these songs, but staying on budget was an important consideration.

Here's the rest of the demo songs. I am using my PRS Archtop with the piezo pickup output going straight to the mixing console. The other guitar player is using an Alvarez Yari with a mic stuck in front of it. I think the recording engineer did a great job with the guitar tone for both guitars.

Rick, great demo. You got a lot done in 4 hrs. I do like the tone of your piezo. They usually sound so clean. The guitar work is great from both you guys. What software product is the engineer using? This is a demo but is also a great foundation for recording. The song choices are great as there is a good variety. Someone will hire you for gigs. Thanks for sharing-- Darwin

Hey Tommy,

Are you keeping busy? If you've got some time this holiday weekend, maybe we could do a little jammin'.
