Tribute blues boy humbucker?

Tribute blues boy humbucker?

I recently picked up a used asat classic bluesboy tribute and really love it. was curious if the humbucker in the tribute is the seth lover that comes in the USA model. The website seems to say no but I have talked to several local dealers who insist it is the same pup. any thoughts?

They are different and the G&L website is correct. They just look the same from the outside.
See List of pickups used in G&L guitars for the difference between them.
