M Box PT LE 8.04 problems - Help??????

Just to keep on track, I recently put Joe Barden Pickups in my ASAT Classic S/H. ALL I can say is that I wish I did so 10 years ago. They are great.

Anyway - Running XP Pro (SP3) Internet Explorer 7, my M-Box pro won't hook up through my firewire port. I checked my7 devices and the M Box showed inactive.

In the process of trying to fix it, I have installed the 8.04 upgrade hoping to renew the drivers. Changed cables and ports, Nothing.... The Mbox Pro fires up when I use it's own wall wart but nothing when hooked up to firewire.

I have searched the web in vain to find an answer. Does anyone here know how I can fix this problem?
