ASAT III pickups

Post by Merliss »

Hi
I recently posted my 1999 ASAT III on Ebay. I got an e-mail from a potential bidder saying he did not think my pickups were original because they did not have adjustable pole pieces. Can anyone tell me if these are the original pickups or not? Thanks. View the pickups here:

No, those are not the original pickups for an ASAT III. The potential bidder is correct. The correct pickups
would be the single coil MFD pickups used in the S-500 model. See List of Regular Production ASAT-style guitars in our G&L Knowledgebase - General G&L Questions subforum.

Hope this helps.
