Information about an ASAT Special Tribute

Post by djyne »

Hi,
i'm about to buy an used ASAT Special Tribute, and I wanted to be sure of what i'm buying.
The serial number is : 03061405

The seller told me it's korean made but he bought it in may 2010 in france.
He told me it is an ash body, I thought that korean made asat were basswood...

Can anyone please help me with this? :greet:

The body wood for a Black finish Tribute model is basswood.

See What is the new Tribute series which G&L announced in 2003? for details.

Based upon the serial number (03061405), it was built in June of 2003 in Korea.
See Serial number significance for details on the Tribute line serial number formats.

Hope this helps.
